  3. CASPAR is not free, it is shareware.  If you intend to use it seriously, please send a 
  4. check for $20 made out to “University of Illinois School of Music” with the application
  5.  below.  Thanks for your help in helping us to make our software available.

  7. NOTE: You need MIDI Manager (2.0.1 or higher works best), Hypercard 2.1 or 2.2, and a MIDI keyboard to use CASPAR.  MIDI Manager is bundled with almost all MIDI music software programs, or you can get it from APDA (the address is in the CASPAR read me file inside the archive).

  37. INSTRUCTIONS ON INSTALLING CASPAR FROM FLOPPY DISKS:

  39. 1. Create a folder named CASPAR on your hard drive.
  40.  
  41. 2. Insert Disk 1 and double-click on the "CASPAR-96-main.sea" archive and  select your newly created "CASPAR" folder.
  42.  
  43. 3. Repeat for disks 2 and 3.  All files must reside in the same folder.
